Don't let a negative culture contaminate your vision!

As leaders, it is crucial to be fiercely protective of your organization's culture.

Just like a bad apple can spoil the whole batch, one negative influence can quickly spread if not addressed.

Remember, what you tolerate will ultimately dominate.

Understand this, there were times Jesus had to remove people from certain rooms because their attitude wasn’t conducive to inspiring faith.

If you allow behaviours or attitudes that go against the vision to persist, they will only continue to hold back its growth.

Now let’s be real: sometimes you can be the greatest hindrance to your vision, which is why you need a coach and accountability to ensure you root out the weeds in your mindset.

Your company's culture has the power to either limit or lift your vision. Even if you’re in the start-up phase, begin to think about the people you wish to hire—what type of qualities do they possess and what type of environment do they need to thrive in?

Don't underestimate its importance, and always be vigilant about maintaining a positive and motivated environment.

If you encounter anything that undermines the culture or vision, don't hesitate to address it promptly. You need to kill the monster while it’s still small.

Your actions as a visionary leader will set the tone for the rest of the organisation. So work on yourself. Become the standard bearer for the vision that God has given you. Don’t get sloppy or start slacking - work as unto the Lord with all your heart.
