The Fresh Air of Fulfillment

If you live long enough, you’ll find that tough times can hit you suddenly. Especially if they are unforseen hardships, they can have a way of blowing the wind out of your sails.

It may feel like the rhythm you once had has gone off beat. Your confidence becomes deflated. Your dreams begin to feel like a distant mist fading into the abyss of forgetfulness.

It can be tempting to doubt your growth so far. But remember, even the mightiest have periods of great testing.

“No one is perfect.” is a phrase we’ve all heard, yet it holds so much truth. However, Life doesn’t ask for perfection. It asks for dedidication. Life doesn’t ask us to avoid mistakes. It asks what we can learn from them.

We aren’t given desires and gifts just to bury them. We’ve been given these gifts to serve and shine our light. So, being dedicated means that you are willing to try again.

It means you are willing to fight for your right to breathe the fresh air of fulfillment — no matter the cost.

If you’re anything like me, you’re hyper-aware of your own inner world. Whilst there’s beauty in emotions, they are not the standard by which we should live.

Emotions are transient, but your dedication is founded on the life you feel called to live and your commitment to strive toward it. If this finds you knocked down, I charge you to rise, exhale the past and inhale the fresh air of fulfilment.
